BVMA Authenticity and Safety Guidelines

The BVMA has formally adopted as policy the Safety Standards and Guidelines for Black Powder Use that were ratified at the 2003 Membership Meeting. These policies will be in use at any BVMA sponsored or supported events. In any case where these Guidelines differ from the Safety Policy at any site at which we sponsor or support an event, the stricter of the policies will be in effect.

These guidelines generally cover black powder, weaponry & tacticals. The BTL is currently working on a set of guidelines for camp safety. Watch the website and the Lists for updates.
